Who We Are
NRT Alloys Private Limited began trading iron scrap in 1993. Today we operate at large scale — handling 70,000 MT a year — as the bridge between scrap dealers on one side and major steel mills on the other.
We buy old iron scrap from dealers and from wherever scrap becomes available, process and grade it at our facility, and dispatch furnace-ready material in bulk to large mills. Both our vendors and our mill customers deal with one reliable point of contact: us.

Starting with a tricycle and a promise
NRT Alloys began by purchasing scrap locally using a tricycle, building trust through honest dealings, fair pricing, and timely payments.
A rented shop, growing ambitions
As business steadily expanded, we established our first rented shop, creating a dedicated space to serve customers and manage increasing scrap volumes.
A permanent home for growth
We acquired our own building with a shop and godown, strengthening our operations and laying the foundation for long-term expansion.
Expanding to Thirumudivakkam
The launch of New Royal Steel at Thirumudivakkam marked a major milestone, enabling us to serve larger industrial customers and process greater volumes.
A new godown for growing demand
To support rising business, we established a new godown at Thirumudivakkam, improving storage capacity and operational efficiency.
Scaling with smarter operations
We expanded our godown facilities while introducing improved technology to streamline scrap handling, grading, and operational workflows.Advanced processing machines were introduced to increase productivity, improve material quality, and meet the growing demands of the steel industry.
Becoming a Private Limited company
NRT Alloys entered a new era by becoming a Private Limited company, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and nationwide expansion.
Expanding Across India
